250610 Friday ❤ The day we spent 100 bucks on food

If there is Peri-Peri around, your nose will send the message to your brain that you are in the right place: Nando's!

I was very excited when I saw the Nando's at Bugis few weeks ago. Cause we had it at Melbourne and I remembered they had yummy peri peri fries!!

This is the only picture we have of when we were at Nando's in Melbourne. Hahaha!! I hope Cheryl won't kill me. FYI It was taken in 2006. Hehehe!! I was looking through the Melbourne folder... and I found many pictures that brought back found memories. I'll delicate an entry on that later.

Back to this day... Dear and I had lunch at Nando's. We ordered the quarter chicken each. I didn't like it very much because it was the chicken's breast meat. It was the part that I hated most. It's not their fault, it's mine... as such, I won't boycott they because of this.

But the Peri fries did not fail me. I wasn't sure if that's the correct fries, so I let dear order what ever he wanted, and he chose the "old time fries" ie regular fries. And he was eating off my plate.

We could choose extra hot, hot, mild and lemon & herb. I'm not adventurous kind when it comes to my food, and I knew that my ability for enduring spiciness has gone down, so I chose the "mild" chicken.

It was overall an pleasant experience. Dear enjoyed the chicken... he loves the breast.

After lunch, we went to get some snacks for our movie. We bought little Japanese sponge cake. It looks nicer than it tastes. Probably cause we didn't eat it there and then.

We went over to Iluma for Toy Story 3 in 3D!! Hate 3D glasses cause they are too big for me. They kept slipping down. Or is it because I have no low nose bridge.

I found out that day, that the person I'm dating is the only person in the whole universe who did not watch Toy Story 1 AND 2!!

The ending part was so sad that I actually teared.

Took a bus to River Valley for dinner.

We had chicken rice at Boon Tong Kee. I wanted taugeh but he refused to let me have it. He insisted that 7 bucks is too much for a plate of bean spout with pork floss. And he changed our order to sweet and sour pork when I went to the toilet!!!!

I was so upset during that meal because the sweet and sour pork did not go well with my chicken rice. Anyhow, nothing cheer me up more than desserts. And I was smiling like a small kid as soon as we step out of Boon Tong Kee.

Because he promised to take me to Swirl Art *smiles*

I found this place few weeks ago, when we took bus 65 towards Orchard. And I told him that we should go there some day. And he didn't recall me saying that, probably cause he was asleep on the bus.

Swirl Art sells frozen yogurt. Like those at Yami yogurt. I think someone said she likes it... is it Huiying?? We can chill there!!

There have eight flavours - mango ❤, strawberry, chocolate, cookie & cream, original..... and we were supposed to DIY our yogurt. And they charge by weight.

Mine's $6+. It's actually more than what you see in the picture.

We moved to the bean bag area.

Our new shoes/sandals...

Dear loves this pic.

He's the cutest when he tells me how his colleague says that his girlfriend is pretty. Cause there's always a tint of jealousy. Hahaha!! Bet he wouldn't admit.

Cabbed back to his place. And I felt asleep! Like what I've said before, I always fall asleep on his bed. And I took a cab home later that night.
