240610 Thursday ❤ Raindrops keep falling on my head

Met Dear at Somerset that day. He was late, and I ended up window shopping alone at 313. We went over to *Scape to check out the new Stage shop. Read that 李腾 spent quite a lot on the renovations, and that xiao zhu will be in town for the opening!! =)

We then went in search for Raindrops cafe, that was featured in i-forget-which magazine. We took a look a the menu and decided to dine there.

We wanted to have fish and chips, unfortunately, it was not in their lunch menu. But the kind chef was willing to cook it for us.

I found a review on Daniel's Food Diary and I like how nicely he puts it...

Located at the corner of *Scape, Raindrops café was surrounded by green grass, tall trees and walled with glass, like a greenhouse found in the middle of cloud nine. The setting was intimate and cosy, amidst the hustle-bustle of the Orchard shopping district.

It's such a pretty place. I think I like glass houses!! I want to go back again. Maybe try something different. The fish and chips is not bad, except it tasted a little too oily. Not that it's really oily, but there's a oil-taste.

We caught The Karate Kid at Cine, after lunch. It was nice!! Yaya... every one says it's nice. So catch it if you haven't. Funny and heartwarming... I like.

And we did some shopping at Cine. I bought a top and a dress at discounted price. Next was Taka (I think)... forgot where else we went. My memory's damn bad, and I can't blog without pictures. But I guess it's not that important. Anyhow, we ended up at Far East.

Dear finally bought the shoes from Left foot... after much considerations. And me, I bought another top, and a pair of shorts. And just like that, I spent almost a hundred bucks on clothes.

We had late dinner at HK Cafe @Ion, so that I could use my 1-for-1 voucher which expires on the 26. Hmmm... I don't know why there are no pictures.

And I took the train home. And I crazily took the wrong train -.-"" I went down a different escalator, but automatically turned to left platform. And I only looked up when the doors were closing at Somerset. And I had to drop at Dhoby ghaut.

No wonder there were so much seats!! I had to stand all the way home on the other train.
