As mentioned in my previous post, I'm dedicating this entry to our Melbourne, Australia trip in March 2006.
If I didn't remember wrongly, we were there for a week. Daddy and Mommy when there first, to join Kor and his then-gf, Priss who were already there. And one week later, Cheryl and I joined them.
Can you imagine, we were only 18 and 15 and they trusted us to find our way from here to Melbourne!!
Godma brought us over to her place the night before, and sent us to the airport that morning.
The plane ride was so long. 7 hours I think. And that was the longest we've spent on a plane.
Mommy and the rest came to pick us at the airport.
And finally... it's pictures time!! But the quality sucks cause we didn't have a proper camera then. Some of the pics were taken with my phone.
The Yarra river. Daddy bought this sweatshirt at the Queen Victoria market. He wants to blend in with the Aussies.
Oh!! Cheryl had a heat stroke that day. And she felt faint, and the only thing that came out of her mouth was "EVERYTHING IS WHITE." Every one at home is still disturbing her over this. Yes!! Even till now.
You can see clearly in this picture. But its taken near the casino. And if I didn't rmb wrongly, it's called the match stick. A ball of fire will appear every few minutes. And there's a whole row of them.
We took a drive to the Phillips island. And stayed there for a few days. Main purpose was to see the blue penguins and the zoo.
We went to the beach at night to see the penguins. You know that the Mama penguins will go out to fish right... and when they return, they'll wait for a few of them to gather and walk back to their homes together. So cute!! And they're so tiny. Think the blue penguins are the smallest in the penguin family.
We went to the blow hole thingy. And the place was super windy.

We stayed at the caravan park. Fake caravan... cannot move one.
And that's our car. Daddy drove all the time since none of us had our license yet.
Hahaha!! This picture was Daddy's phone wall paper for a long time. He look so funny.
Ohh!! I remember here. We went there to have fish and chips.
And this AMAZE'N THINGS place... it's so funny!
Hahahah!! For once I'm bigger than both of them.
And koala. See Cheryl... asking the koala to turn to the camera.
Eh. Why is Mommy so tall/ why am I so short?!

What's visiting Australia without seeing the kangaroos...

And we went back to the city. I miss having BBQ at the apartment where Kor and Priss stays. It's really nice because the weather is so cold!
Ooooh. I miss this trip. Every thing there is moving at such a slow pace. It's so relaxed compared to back at home.
