DAY 1
Our journey started very early that morning. We left his place at 6am, and took a cab down to Golden Mile. It's been so long since I last woke up at 5am!!

I took this picture on the bus when the sun was up. My manicured nails, with my ❤ AES hoody.

We finally reached at 2+, the journey was about 7 hours. The bus ride left me feeling very very sick. Bus rides, like iphones, and I don't gel.
We went to take a queue number at the hotel lobby. We only found out later that we could take it at the "tour counter". We wasted time queuing. But then again, who's to blame. The last time he was there was when he was a kid, and the last time I went Genting was in sec 2 with Daddy, Mommy and Cheryl.

He run to the bubblegum counter when the bus stopped for a break. Like a small kid, he smiled, and grabbed a big box of gum!

We had to wait ultra long till it's our turn to check it. There were like 100+ people in front of us. As such, we went to have lunch at a old food court. And I had expensive ramen, which sucks. We even had time to walk around a bit. But he kept complaining because our bags were heavy. So we went back to the tour counter.
That dumb dumb laughed at me when I wanted to bring a luggage. He said it's such a short trip and there's no shopping! And so, I managed to stuff my clothes and toiletries in my C&K bag.
Thankfully, I think they renovated the hotel. And we managed to get a room in Tower 2. And the rooms were much much bigger than the one we stayed at the last time. I remembered that the toilets were very small, and when you go in, you cannot even turn. And when you open the window, you can almost touch the wall of the next building!
When we got in to our room, dear's first reaction was "You bluff me ah? Like that very small meh!!" Hahah!!
The view from our room. We were on the seventh floor.

After settling down, we went to the casino. There were two casinos. We went to the Starworld casino first since it was conveniently located at our hotel.
We had dinner at Marrybrown, which is the largest Malaysian fast food chain. And... we had our meals there the whole trip! I guess the first food court experience scared the hell out of us. We didn't have the guts to try something new. It's like KFC, but better. In fact, the chicken there is million times better than KFC.

Chee ko peh took a picture of me washing my hands -.-

There's a carousel just outside Marrybrown.

I can't remember, but I think we went back to the casino after dinner. Probably the Casino de Genting which was ultra far from our hotel. And the best part was.... Dear lost all the money he brought!! Lost in gambling, not dropped the money kay!
He brought 400SGD, and I brought 200SGD + 160RM which I earned when I went KL with Pinkroom. Which was a total of 14160 RM. And he lost his share! I only gave him 50-100 RM to play for me since I didn't know how to. And I think he lost everything as well.
DAY 2
Next morning, he woke me up at 7.30am so that we can start playing earlier. He wanted to fight back to get his money back.

We had breakfast at Marrybrown. LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE THE NASI LEMAK!!
Cause the chilli is so nice. It's spicy yet not overwhelming.

Pretty view from where we were sitting.

I was very cautious with my money because I didn't want to have nothing to fall back on. And obviously also because we needed to have money for food!! I only changed 50-100 RM to play, I think. And I felt so kiam.
I was left with 55 RM, when we went for lunch at Marrybrown. After lunch, we went shopping. And I fell in love with a pair of heels, which I said I'll return to buy if I win money. Dear too fell for a watch, which he promised to return to get it if he wins.

In the beginning, I didn't dare to play. I got Dear to bet for me. And I only stayed at the table with the minimum bet of 10RM.
As time passed, I was braved enough to play on my own, while dear was on the other table. I played baccarat since it's a brainless game compared to pontoon. And I started to play at the 25RM table!!
***
FYI - For baccarat, you can bet on banker, player (odds are 1 to 1), tie (1 to 8), and pair for banker/player (1 to 11). And the banker will open 2-3 cards and see how many points are there. The one with the most points wins. Something like that lah.
Most of the time, I couldn't count fast enough. Until by the end of the day, I gave up counting. And just wait and see if I get money or not.
They have a screen to record the results of the past games. So most people will bet according to the pattern, and some times it works!! And other times, there's the "dragon" which happens when the banker/player win for many many rounds consecutively.
Pontoon is like blackjack, quite similar. I didn't dare to play this because you have to decide if you want to take another card or not. And when you do, will you affect the banker's cards. If you do, chances are the person on the table will scold you!!
***
Anyhow, by the end of that night, thanks to the dragon, I managed to win back the amount I brought. So exciting! I guess that's how people get hooked.
The people there were quite friendly, probably why we had lots of fun. I wished I had the courage to bet bigger!!

Our lobby.

I brought back a 5 RM chip cause it's pink!! Hehehe!!

That night, we bought Marrybrown back to the room for dinner.

DAY 3
Dear woke me up at 5.30am to play -.-"" We didn't have breakfast, just munched on Oreo that we brought.
My luck that morning was really horrible! Everything that I bet on, lost! I even had the power to "break" a dragon. The banker won for 14 times in a row, and when I finally decided to ride on their good luck, I "broke" the dragon!
And when I finally won one round, the croupier congratulate me!
Dear played pontoon, 1 on 1 with the banker. He knew the secret since that's his game at RWS. I didn't dare to play, so I watched him play. And he was quite lucky that morning. He won a few hundred. He could have won more, but he refused to leave the table when I asked him to. He's luck was running low, so was his pile of chips.
We left for breakfast. He wanted Mac, but I insisted on Marrybrown (again) since it'll be the last time I get to eat their nasi lemak!!
We went back to play till 12noon. We went back to the hotel to pack and check out.
After which, we went to get my shoes. And he got a watch. My slingbacks look much prettier in real life, and it's I think 5 inch high.

By 2pm, we had to be at the bus terminal. We found this place by chance, it's so pretty!

The bus stopped a few times in between. We had lunch/dinner at one of the stops. And it was 9+ by the time we reached Singapore.
I stayed over at his place that night as I was so tired.
