This day's outing was an impromptu one. The previous night, I asked Cheryl if she was free, and if she wanted to go check out TE's sales. But she had FTT (she passed!) and was going out after that.
But that morning, she said she could meet me after FTT. I was relunctant because I slept at 4am that night. And her FTT ends at 11+, which means that I have to wake up at 9+. Yes!! I need two hours to get ready and travel. I don't like to rush, so I'll give up sleep to have ample time. But somehow, I'm always late.
Anyway, I thought, why waste a chance to go out with Cheryl. After all, it's not often for her to ask me out. (Actually it's getting more often. She asked me out today 30 June... and also tmr =X)
And so, I got ready and went to pick her and Jiening at SSDC@Woodland.
We had lunch at United Square.

There was a animal show at the atrium.

We went to TE@Chinatown. Managed to find our way there without the address cause Cheryl lost the paper. The sales was disappointing. Didn't manage to see any nice stuff like those we saw on their site. We left empty handed.
Swirl Art for frozen yogurt. Bought Cheryl there cause I know she likes it. Jn who don't usually take yogurt had it too!

Like this pic cause we both have got sharp face. Cheryl once said I'm "damn ass" cause my face is sharp, and her's is round by nature -.-"

Many many toppings for us to choose from...

Jn says it looks like Cheryl's bullying me. Wahahaha!!

I like this pic!

Next stop was Vivo, to build-a-bear. We wanted to do it at Novena but the choices there was limited. That's why we headed over to Vivo, nearby anyway.

It's our first time there! So exciting!! I've been wanting to build a bear and I wanted have my 20th birthday party there (but no $$). Dear kept making fun of me, because as you can see, it took me almost 2 years to build the bear.
There are seven steps. The first was to choose the bear. And we chose a bunny cause it's soooo much cuter than the bears. The bunny's fur is soooo soft. And she's got a pink nose.
Next was of cause, to "stuff me".

And we had to choose a heart for the bunny.

"You want the Bunny to be happy when she thinks of you right? So rub the Bunny's head."

"... and you want to be happy when you think of the Bunny right? Rub your head also."
Which I obediently obliged. And I rubbed the heart on Cheryl's head too. And then rub our arm to make Bunny as strong as us. And our hearts for I-forgot-what.

Then to make a wish.

And stuff it in to the Bunny.

Step 3 was to bathe for the Bunny.

And to "Dress me". And they didn't have the red polka dot dress (like Minnie mouse's) that we saw at Novena. It was red and matches the car. The Bunny was meant for the car. I kind of like that idea since I hate driving alone. Kinda freaks me out =(
But the Bunny's at home with us right now. I think we both feel that she'll feel scared alone in the car in the middle of the night. Well, at least that's how I feel.
Hahah!! And Jiening had to keep reminding Cheryl and I that it's only a toy.

Dress her and it's done!! And we took a super long time.

Step 5 was to register the Bunny. And we decided to name it Cherry. I thought that was what Mommy wanted to name Cheryl. But no, they wanted Crystal. But they chose Cheryl in the end because Kor and my name starts with 'CHE'.

So... we chose CHERRY!

And we had to take a pledge. It's super funny!

We took a walk outside since it was still early.

I like Cherry's top!! Wish there's human size.
Last night, Mommy said something about Cherry. And Kor asked who's Cherry.
And Mommy answered "YOUR RABBIT SISTER!!" Hahaha!!
On a separate day, Daddy said "Aiyo. I work so hard, you spend $60 on a rabbit." =X

Cheryl's new LOVE ring from F21.

We drove to Anchorpoint to shop. But the car park was full, and it was already 7+ then. So we left. We went back to tpy to pick Jocelyn, Cheryl's other BFF. We were so tired, all three of us fell asleep while waiting for her to come down.
Dinner was at Sunset Grill@Seletar Airbase. Daddy said he used to work there (at the Airbase, not Sunset Grill!!). The place is super dark at night. I suggest going in the day next time!
I've been into that area a few times before, with Kor. And it feels eerier when you're in a car with three girls!! Anyhow, we got lost and had to ask the Army boys are directions.
The place was packed even thought it's so ulu! Thankfully we managed to get a parking lot real fast. We almost died when we saw....

We managed to get a table real fast. But waiting for the food was a killer.
The signature dish there is the Buffalo Wings with the different level of spiciness. We took level 3/10. I was a loser cause I took the first bite and almost died. Probably cause I took the piece with lots of sauce. So it burnt my tongue real bad. Plus I was still coughing (excuses excuses!!).
And they ordered one dozen. Jn's bf, Zilin joined us. And four of them finished ten wings. They could eat, but they wanted to save space for their main course.

Cheryl and I had pork chop ❤ and there's apple sauce. I want to go back for the ribs. Maybe bring bf there some day. (OMG I'm starving!) The ribs was sold out that day.

Cheryl after two/three wings.

Hahaha!! Everyone's got red lips.

Three of them had fish and chips, which took forever to come. And I heard it's not nice.

The bill came up to $100 for the five of us. But I guess we had fun. Oh!! The funniest was when we started talking about our primary school. Jiening's from Pei Chun as well!! But they didn't become friends till in sec school. We started talking about Cheryl's crushes, our teachers and Tang poems that our Principle Chen made us read. Ohhh... those were the days.

We stopped outside the flying club to take photos. I like the effect of this photo.

Cheryl with Zilin's helmet. Daddy's said he'll disown us if we ride a bike, and so we didn't.

Followed Zilin's bike to Serangoon Garden. Drop the girls, and I went home. They went to catch up with other friends. And I was dead beat.
Oh!! We saw the lunar eclipse *see report here*!! When we were driving to I-don't-know-where, we saw the moon. It was in a funny crescent shape. And later that night, at Sunset Grill, we saw the moon again. And it was a full moon.
It didn't occur to us then that it was an eclipse. So dumb.
Even though we had fun, I still hate going out on Saturdays.

Some days I think of Cheryl and wondered if I'll lose her as a friend one day. You know how fragile friendships are... One day you're friends, and the next you stop talking to each other. And few months down the road, you become strangers. Been there, done that... I know how it hurts.
Then I realised, we're sisters, tied together with blood relations. It's so much thicker than any friendship.
There was one day, while shopping, I forgot what we were arguing about and I told her,
"I don't friend you already".
She replied, "Too bad you can't. You don't sister me lah! Also cannot." and she burst out laughing.
Having that said, I'm happy to have someone I know who'll always be there for me, like how I'll be there for her... Always have, and always will ❤
